A Little Disappointed

"I wanted this Sheila bag for a long time, & when the pine needle suede became available, I ordered. Unfortunately, while the bag itself is a great color, I’m bothered that the shoulder strap isn’t suede like the bag. I missed this when ordering, so was very surprised that it was solid leather. Color matches very well, but the hard leather DOES NOT go with the suede bag. Also, on the bag I received, the rivets in one side (attaching the handles) are really not in line & look uneven. I have had many HOBO bags over the years, but haven’t bought one since the linings were changed to plain fabric. One thing I always loved was the printed fabrics used. I miss that. Meanwhile, I’m in discussion with customer service, so hopefully this will all resolve easily. I really hope I don’t have to return."

"Shaila medium satchel is my favorite hobo bag of all. The round handles the cross body strap and all the interior zippi pockets and slip pockets keep me organized while looking neat and beautiful. WHITECAP IS NOT WHITE

"Even though the color is called whitecap, and it looks white in the pics, this bag is NOT white. I have this same style bag from two years ago that is actually white, with laser cutouts in the leather. As for the style and size of the bag itself, it is a nice medium size with lots of useful pockets. Very little structure though, so it’s kind of floppy. Having both handles and a strap is very useful."

I love the soft, pebbled

"I love the soft, pebbled leather & the roominess of the bag. The designer strap is nice, but much stiffer than the bag. The strap stays in place on my shoulder, so I like that. The pockets on the inside are nice, but the outside pocket is too small for my phone. If I could change one thing, that outside pocket would run the entire length of the bag."

YARD SALE FIND

"I was very disappointed when I received my handbag. The photos on the website were not an accurate depiction of the actual item. The raffia material feels like a cheap hard plastic material. This purse looks like something you would find at a yard/rummage sale. Unfortunately, because this was a "final" sale, which I did not realize when I ordered it, HOBO Bags was unwilling to replace my Sheila bag with another color, or at the least provide me with a credit towards a future purchase."
