Operations Assistant


Company Overview: We are a dynamic and innovative retail fashion company seeking a dedicated and capable Operations Assistant to join our team. As an Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting both office and warehouse staff, ensuring seamless technical operations, efficient inventory management, and effective communication across various departments.


Technical Support and Issue Escalation:

  • Provide minor technical support to office and warehouse staff, including troubleshooting printers, peripherals, and addressing technical glitches.
  • Assist with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes and escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to resolve technical challenges promptly.

Inventory and Fulfillment Operations:

  • Support inventory management by identifying and addressing transactional errors,
    discrepancies, and ensuring accurate product placement.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to maintain smooth fulfillment operations.

Incident Logging and Documentation:

  • Maintain a centralized database for logging support incidents, aiding in root cause
    analysis for process improvement.
  • Document all support activities and resolutions comprehensively for future reference.

Operations Manuals and Training:

  • Assist in the development and deployment of comprehensive warehouse, IT, and EDI
    operations manuals.
  • Provide training to employees on new processes and tools to enhance operational

Onsite Support and Facilities Management:

  • Plan, communicate, and execute onsite support for various operational needs.
  • Serve as the point of contact for facility-related service calls and manage
    communication with external service providers.
  • Perform light facility maintenance to ensure a safe and functional work environment.

Supply Management:

  • Monitor and maintain adequate supply levels to support uninterrupted operations across departments.

Contract Negotiations and Agreements:

  • Assist in negotiations of service contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms
    for the company.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to streamline operations and enhance overall business efficiency.

Miscellaneous Tasks:

  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the success of the


  • Background in technical support, network management, or related fields is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across various teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on documentation and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in using software tools, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Prior experience in retail or warehouse operations is beneficial.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
