Key Account Coordinator
JOB TITLE: Key Account Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Sales Manager, Key Accounts & New Business
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Key Account Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the sales and account management team. This entry-level position is responsible for ensuring smooth operations in process management, product setup, market preparation, and account administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn and grow in the wholesale industry.
To note: This is a hybrid position located in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
Order & Process Management:
· Coordinate purchase orders (POs) by communicating updates to key accounts, ensuring accuracy, and resolving discrepancies with internal & external teams before shipment
· Monitor product listings on account websites to ensure proper display and accuracy after delivery
· Review order entry and tracking processes, including working with inventory and planning teams to create, update, and maintain purchase and ship logs
Product Setup & Support:
· Assist in the preparation of product setup documents, style sheets, and templates to support account needs
· Work with the marketing team to gather and distribute promotional assets and materials to retail partners
· Prepare and pack product samples for quarterly market events and assist in the creation of materials tailored to specific accounts
· Load and help to maintain inventory levels for all marketplace and dropship accounts
· Manage marketplace refunds and customer interactions
Market & Account Support:
· Compile and distribute reports, such as ATS packages to support off-price accounts & sales initiatives
· Participate in operational and logistical planning for account meetings and market events, including attending New York market to provide support
· Manage special projects and provide administrative support as assigned by leadership
Account Administration:
· Act as a point of contact for account management & buying teams
· Collaborate with Sales Manager and Account Exec to deliver exceptional service to 3PE/Key Accounts and ensure day-to-day needs are met
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong organizational skills and time management skills
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
· An interest in the wholesale or fashion industry is a plus
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
· Previous internship or work experience in a retail or wholesale setting (preferred, not required)
