Hobo Gives Back: Lunches For Light House
"Our Live The Code philanthropic platform was inspired by the heritage of the American Hobo who lived by a very specific code around respect, kindness, citizenship and community. We are equally inspired by the many organizations in our community that go above and beyond to live the code and make a difference. This is how David and I strive to run Hobo every single day and the legacy we wish to create." - Koren Ray
A few months back we released a limited-edition mini leather tote, Vagabond, in a variety of Hobo hides; perfect for toting your lunch or running errands. Created using limited-quantity leftover leather from past seasons, these cute little totes helped us reduce waste and provided a vehicle for us to raise money for an important cause. To-date, all Vagabond purchases have supported our Live The Code mission because in celebration of the new product we committed to donating 100 lunches to a local homeless shelter we care about: Light House Shelter in Annapolis.
As you can see from these images, we had such a fun time getting the whole Hobo family together to assemble the lunches. From the grocery store to the kitchen to the drop-off of the lunches, we were able to create many team-bonding memories while giving back to our community. Every day, Light House hands out 200 lunches to people in need. We are so impressed by their heart for the city of Annapolis and we love supporting them any chance we get.
