When it came time to celebrate the spirit of Mother’s Day, collaborating with a few of our friends who have daughters felt so natural. The timing couldn’t have been better for a mini-me campaign because Sheila (known to be every mom’s favorite bag) now has her own mini-me: small Sheila. Designed for mom, but sized perfectly for daughters to “borrow”, small Sheila is a compact version of the iconic Sheila bag. When did you get your first Hobo?
Karla Reed: I got my first Hobo bag (a Sheila!) when Charlotte was a newborn. Being asked to be a part of this campaign was such a full circle moment, because now Charlotte is five and has a mini version of Sheila that she loves.
How do you use your Sheila bag?
Caitlin Kruse: This is my second Sheila bagand I love how it fits so much. It’s amazing that it can be my everyday bag, but also fits my laptop, and even doubles as a diaper bag!
How fun is twinning with your daughter?
Alice Kerley: When I surprised Annie with a matching small Sheila bag to my Sheila bag, she absolutely flipped! It was such a sweet moment to see that smile light up her face. I can’t resist twinning with her, especially with these beautiful bags.
How excited were your girls about the bags?
Kayla Petering: It was seriously the cutest things! The girls have been wearing them everywhere, which is cracking me up, because they have stuffed everything they possible can inside their bags!
What do you put in your Sheila bag?
Caitie Newman: I love that I can hide all my daily mama essentials in my Sheila bag! From my belongings (beauty products, wallet, iPhone, keys…) to all my kids’ things (pacifiers, diapers, snacks, shoes…) it all fits inside. You name it, I’ve got it!
